Software Engineer - Android (all genders)

Salary: CHF 75'000 - 85'000 per year

Requirements:

At least three years of experience in Android development

Strong proficiency in Kotlin

Deep knowledge of Android fundamentals and best practices

Experience with Android architecture components

Comfortable using Jetpack Compose, Coroutines, and Flows

Experience with RxJava is a plus

Solid understanding of testing practices and commitment to quality

Experience with Node.js or Scala is beneficial

Having published apps on the Play Store is highly regarded

Passion for learning and self-organization; readiness to enhance skills and take on new challenges

Courage to experiment with new technologies (including AI)

Customer-centric approach: prioritize quality, security, speed, and performance

Responsibilities:

Collaborate in an agile, cross-functional team to maintain and evolve the HolidayCheck Android app

Engage in robust development practices including pair programming, code reviews, and continuous delivery to thousands of users

Innovate and implement new features in close collaboration with iOS and Android developers, Product Designers, and Product Managers

Contribute to the technical community through blogs or tech talks
