micro1 is engaging Linguistics Specialists to contribute expertise to a customer project focused on language model evaluation. In this role, you'll apply your expertise to help train next-generation AI systems. Your work will shape how models learn, reason, and perform through high-quality, real-world input. No prior experience in AI is required — your domain knowledge is what matters.

Scope of Work

Carefully review and analyze conversations between humans and large language models (LLMs) for accuracy, clarity, and completeness.

Examine and assess responses generated by LLMs against well-defined instruction-following guidelines.

Provide detailed, constructive written and verbal feedback regarding model output quality.

Identify subtle errors and inconsistencies in grammar, usage, and context, ensuring linguistic precision.

Deliver succinct, actionable feedback with meticulous attention to detail, focusing on accuracy rather than creativity.

Document findings and recommendations in clear, organized reports to support ongoing model improvements.

Collaborate with project coordinators to clarify guidelines and address ambiguities in tasks as needed.

Native proficiency in U.S. English (required for this engagement).

Advanced academic background or extensive professional experience in linguistics, language analysis, or related fields.

Availability to begin contributing immediately upon selection.

Experience with guideline or rubric-based evaluation preferred, though not required.
