The Test and Evaluations Systems Integrator will be responsible for integrating and testing software and hardware systems to ensure they function together seamlessly. This role requires a strong understanding of both software and hardware components, as well as experience in networking and hardware integration.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in computer terminals and have a deep knowledge of Linux system architecture. They will be responsible for assisting in the implementation of test plans, evaluating system performance, and identifying areas for improvement. The T&E Systems Integrator will also be responsible for integrating new hardware and software components into new and existing systems, ensuring compatibility and optimal performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Identify and resolve software and hardware issues

Integrate new hardware and software components into new and existing systems

Evaluate system performance and identify areas for improvement

Configure and admin IP based LAN & wireless networks

Configure and admin Ardupilot based flight controllers

Configure and admin embedded Linux systems

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure test requirements are met

Provide technical guidance and support to team members

Lead Flight Test Operations as an RPIC by ensuring aircraft readiness, creating mission profiles, and adhering to safety protocols

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Proven experience integrating and testing software and hardware systems

Experience with Linux system admin via command line

Strong knowledge of networking protocols and technologies

Experience with hardware integration, including experience with sensors, camera systems, embedded systems, radios, IP network switches, micro controllers, actuators.

Ability to make wiring harnesses. Including soldering, crimping, fault isolation

Repair of avionics systems malfunctions

Familiarity with testing methodologies and tools

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues

Able to work extended hours as required

Strong familiarity with Ardupilot based flight controllers

Obtain and maintain a FAA part 107 certificate

In this role, you will be subject to pre-employment and randomized substance screening, as required by the Company.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

RC pilot experience in Groups 1 - 3 rotary and fixed wing UAVs

Good understanding of aircraft/system performance and log data analysis

Experience with scripting languages

Familiarity with version control systems

Familiarity with test automation tools and frameworks

US Salary Range

$86,000—$114,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
