The subteam for this role will be:
On the ML Ops team, we're building next-gen Waymo datagen infrastructure. The intern will join the team building the ML Datagen Controlplane - a system for orchestrating, prioritizing, and tracking datagen requests & status. Work will range from building out new functionality in the controlplane to expanding upon UI & system visualization functionality to support the needs of our growing user base.

You will:
Work with ml ops team members & customers to define and implement large scale datagen infrastructure
Translate high level requirements into a working design
Code in C++ (with assistance of agentic coding tools)
Test & debug systems & pipelines
You have:
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong C++ programming skills
Solid foundations in algorithms, data structures, and debugging systems
We prefer:
Strong communication skills
Experience with SQL & data analysis
