Job Title: Telemetry Engineer
Location: 100% Remote (U.S.)
Position Type: Full-time, Direct W2
Salary Range: $100,000–$150,000 Annually
Experience Required: 6+ years

Job Summary
We are seeking a Telemetry Engineer to design, implement, and manage enterprise observability platforms that provide actionable insights through metrics, logs, traces, and alerting. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with modern observability tools, SRE practices, and monitoring solutions for large-scale cloud environments.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
5+ years of experience in SRE, Platform Engineering, or Observability.
Strong experience with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, and Datadog, New Relic, or Splunk.
Proficiency in Go, Python, or Java.
Experience with distributed tracing, structured logging, Linux, containers, and CI/CD.
Strong understanding of SRE principles, SLOs, and incident management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Thanos, Mimir, Cortex, Loki, or Tempo.
Familiarity with eBPF-based observability tools.
Experience with observability cost optimization.
Contributions to OpenTelemetry or other observability open-source projects.
Experience supporting regulated environments.
