Project Description:Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology. The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Work Location:Services will be performed via remote access. Services shall not be performed remotely from outside of Canada.

About the Project

Shared Health's Digital Health service supports the transformation and enablement of healthcare delivery through the effective use of information and communication technology. The Digital Shared Services project focuses on improving information management, technology processes, and digital services across the provincial healthcare sector.

We are seeking an experienced Testing and Quality Assurance Analyst to support information system implementation and quality assurance activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, scripts, and test cases; executing functional and non-functional testing; analyzing requirements and business processes; and supporting the successful implementation of healthcare information systems.

This is a full-time remote contract opportunity, with services required to be performed from within Canada.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, document, and execute detailed test scenarios, scripts, and test cases based on functional and non-functional requirements.

Plan and conduct testing for information systems, including client-server and web-based applications.

Design test cases to validate system functionality, usability, integration, performance, and compliance with documented requirements.

Review and analyze business and technical requirements to identify testing needs and acceptance criteria.

Support information system implementation projects from a quality assurance and business analysis perspective.

Document customer requirements, including functional and non-functional requirements.

Analyze and document current and future-state business processes and process maps.

Identify business and system capability gaps and support the development of appropriate solutions.

Execute test plans and document test results, defects, issues, and resolutions.

Work collaboratively with business stakeholders, technical teams, project managers, vendors, and clinical users.

Support defect identification, tracking, investigation, retesting, and resolution.

Provide testing status updates and communicate risks, issues, dependencies, and recommendations to project stakeholders.

Develop testing scenarios and execute testing activities for healthcare information systems in clinical environments.

Support implementation and testing activities involving the Altera Sunrise suite of products.

Ensure testing activities are completed in accordance with project timelines, requirements, quality standards, and established methodologies.

Perform other quality assurance and testing activities as required by the project.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Education

Degree, diploma, or certification in Software Engineering.

Testing and Quality Assurance Experience

The successful candidate must demonstrate:

10+ years of experience developing and executing test scenarios, scripts, and test cases that demonstrate conformance to functional and non-functional requirements.

5+ years of experience developing detailed testing cases and scenarios and executing testing for information systems.

At least one project or engagement involving testing in a clinical setting.

5+ years of software testing experience, including test case design and development/testing of client-server and web applications.

Experience with functional and non-functional testing, defect management, test execution, and validation of system requirements.

Business Analysis and Implementation Experience

5+ years of experience in an analyst role supporting information system implementation projects and process mapping activities.
