Raventra Health is a medical services company providing outsourced billing, coding, and claims processing solutions for provider groups and hospitals. As a Medical Coder, CPC, you will review clinical documentation and accurately assign CPT and ICD-10 codes for outpatient encounters. You will work closely with internal teams and provider clients to ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and timely claims processing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Code outpatient E/M services, procedures, and diagnoses based on clinical documentation

Review medical records and identify the appropriate CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes

Query providers when documentation is incomplete, unclear, or requires clarification

Maintain high coding accuracy and address feedback from internal audits

Meet daily productivity and encounter targets while maintaining quality standards

Stay current with CPT, ICD-10, and other applicable coding updates and guidelines

Support documentation and coding compliance for audits, claims, and appeals

Collaborate with billing and claims teams to identify and resolve coding-related issues

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Active CPC, CCS, or RHIT certification

2+ years of outpatient medical coding experience

Experience with an electronic medical record system such as Epic, Athena, eClinicalWorks, or a comparable platform

Strong working knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding guidelines

Ability to interpret clinical documentation and apply appropriate coding rules

Strong attention to detail and commitment to coding accuracy and compliance

Ability to work independently and manage daily coding volume in a remote environment

HIPAA-compliant private workspace and ability to work effectively in a fully remote role

NICE TO HAVE

Specialty coding certification

Experience with specialty-specific coding

Medical coding auditing experience

Risk adjustment or HCC coding experience

Experience supporting coding-related appeals or payer audits
