Performance Objectives
Suggesting and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines to automate code testing and deployment
Tracking software performance, resolving errors, monitoring and troubleshooting applications, implementing preventive measures for smooth roadmaps, and building automated processes
Enhancing application platform resources and implementing cost-effective solutions
Implementing and managing infrastructure using code rather than manual processes. Uses Terraform or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) management
Be a team player with the ability to work effectively across multi-discipline teams in a global setting. Assistance in resolving issues quickly and deploying new features smoothly.
Monitoring and creating new processes based on performance analysis
Better management of the software development process and implementation of configuration management tools
Automating and scripting repetitive tasks to improve team efficiency
Maintenance of security best practices, including automated compliance checks and secure code deployment
Information sharing on best practices through documentation and handovers. must prioritize ongoing development, be self-driven, and maintain a high standard of attention to detail.
Competitive Candidate Profile
Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools
Good knowledge in infrastructure as code tools. Preferably Terraform.
Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools. Preferably Grafana.
Skill in Docker for packaging applications and Kubernetes for managing containers
Experience with both MongoDB (NoSQL) and MS SQL Server (RDBMS), particularly those that involve managing diverse data systems and modern cloud environments.
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to ensure proper teamwork
Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, etc.
A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent industry experience with minimum 2-3 years of work experience in DEVOPS / Technical support department
Ability to multi-task and prioritise under pressure, while maintaining high quality output and deadlines. Documentation and handovers on the best practices
Nice to have
Certification in cloud platforms like AWS certified DevOps engineer
Good knowledge of agile methodologies and practices
