The Team You'll Work With

You'll be joining our Carta Law, Americas Sales team. As an Account Executive, you'll join a cross-functional team to strategically navigate asset managers - evangelizing the Carta Law value proposition and driving revenue for the largest AI-native law firm in private capital. This is a high-growth, high-visibility role at the commercial frontier of a business that is scaling fast.

The Problems You'll Solve

Communicate the business impact of Carta Law's product offerings to key decision makers, including CCOs, GCs and CFOs of leading asset managers

Demonstrate ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus-building to identify and sell new opportunities

Own sales cycles end-to-end, from outbound prospecting in partnership with a dedicated SDR to close

Drive revenue through strategic outbound prospecting within the legal services and fund administration markets

Own the entire sales lifecycle, from lead generation to close

Develop a comprehensive sales strategy and sales plan that ensures consistent achievement of goals over the short and long-term

Build and maintain relationships with legal services clients and serve as their customer advocate

About You

Fluency in legal services, fund management, or financial services - you understand how law firms and fund managers operate

5+ years of Account Executive experience selling into legal, financial services, or alternative assets or 3+ years of legal experience in a corporate law firm

Experience selling to legal and compliance leaders, fund managers, or asset managers with a proven ability to speak their language

Experience managing and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals

Interest in being part of a 'startup within a startup' — Carta Law is a growing business within a scaling platform

Salary

We are hiring for multiple levels and locations, so final offers may vary from the amounts listed based on geography, experience and expertise, and other factors. Carta's compensation package includes a market competitive salary, equity for all full time roles, exceptional benefits, and, for applicable roles, commissions plans.

$250k OTE ($60.10/hour) in New York City
