POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Admissions Liaison is an integral part of the Admissions Department and serves as the primary liaison between CARD and potential CARD patients. Admissions Liaisons are expected to answer a high volume of incoming calls stemming from the CARD Admissions hotline in addition to inquiries from the Admissions Portal. Each inquiry should be handled in an efficient and effective manner answering questions, providing general information, and guiding them through the enrollment process. The Admissions Liaison is also responsible for the issuing and collection of CARD’s enrollment packet & assisting families with understanding the details of their benefits.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Represent CARD policy enthusiastically

Represent CARD professionally and ethically to internal and external stakeholders

Maintain confidentiality in all aspects of client, staff, and CARD information

Create and modify documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Work effectively with management

Handle incoming phone calls via our Admissions call center, and provide guidance to families going through the admissions process

Communicate and maintain positive relationships with CARD clients, local and corporate clinical staff, and local and corporate operations team

Effectively manage and handle direct insurance referrals

Provide exceptional communication and outreach to potential clients and guide them through the admissions process

Keeps accurate records of customer interactions, process customer accounts and file documents

Communicate and maintain positive relationships with CARD clients, local and corporate clinical staff, and local and corporate operations team

Responsible for sending emails and resources to all new patients and adhere to New Patient Resource timeline

Ensure intake process is completed in a timely manner

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or equivalent required

Bachelor’s degree preferred

Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred

Knowledge of ABA or Healthcare industry preferred

1+ years of call center experience

1+ years of customer service experience

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written

Good decision making and problem solving ability

Ability to effectively and efficiently apply time management skills to multitask

Self-motivated and clearly focused on the tasks assigned to them

Works well in teams and has the ability to work independently with little or no supervision

English proficiency, both verbal and written, is required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

This is a fully remote position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time.
