AI Developer Intern (m/w/d)

YOUR TASKS

You support the integration of (generative) AI technologies into existing application software or collaborate with the team to develop new, innovative solutions with AI components

You assist in the analysis and preparation of data specifically for (generative) AI use cases

You contribute to the evaluation and optimization of software systems with AI components, particularly using frameworks such as LangChain, as well as APIs such as OpenAI or Ollama

You support cloud-native development projects with a focus on AI-driven software solutions

You assist in the integration and use of AI-ready database systems (e.g., relational, vector, or graph databases) for AI applications

You research new technologies and methods in the field of (generative) AI (e.g., Model Context Protocol, agent technologies, and modern AI integration frameworks)

YOUR PROFIL

You are enrolled in a degree program with AI-related coursework and have a solid foundational understanding of artificial intelligence

You have practical knowledge of Python and at least one additional modern programming language such as JavaScript (e.g., Node.js), TypeScript, Go, or Java

You are passionate about customer-centric application development, AI, and innovative technologies.

You are a team player, communicative, and work independently in a structured manner

You have gained initial experience in cloud-native development (e.g., with Docker, Kubernetes) and DevOps practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub)

You have basic knowledge of API design and full-stack software development

You enjoy visually presenting and communicating developed concepts and results

You are looking to gain valuable hands-on experience over a period of 3 to 6 months and actively contribute to projects

You have very good German and English language skills (minimum C1 level in both languages)
