AI Engineer Intern – Enterprise Java Frameworks

Salary: CHF 55'000 - 75'000 per year

Requirements:

Masters student in Computer Science or Software Engineering

Good Java development skills

Interest in Artificial Intelligence and cloud-native technologies

Familiarity with Spring Boot, Quarkus or modern application frameworks

Curious mindset and willingness to experiment

Residence in Switzerland or willingness to relocate

Responsibilities:

Evaluate and prototype AI capabilities for enterprise application frameworks used across our bank

Research emerging AI technologies and enterprise use cases

Explore AI integration patterns for Spring Boot and Quarkus applications

Evaluate Model Context Protocol (MCP) and agent-based architectures

Build proof-of-concepts demonstrating AI-enhanced application capabilities

Collaborate with software architects and engineering teams

Document findings and propose recommendations for future adoption
