What the posting says

About us

Bots & People designs and delivers enterprise AI upskilling programmes for large organisations across Europe, including Daimler Truck, Deutsche Telekom, Siemens Energy and Audi. The company has trained more than 80000 employees across over 30 enterprise clients.

The role

This role involves both designing enterprise learning programmes and delivering them as the expert in the room.

It is a senior individual contributor role requiring independent professional judgement across programme architecture, client consultancy and live delivery.

What you’ll do

Facilitation

Deliver live training, workshops, hackathons and coaching sessions for enterprise audiences, from small leadership groups to sessions with up to 100 participants, in German and in English

Facilitate our signature formats, and adapt them live to the room

Handle technical questions on AI tooling in the moment, at a level that holds up with technical participants

Run dry-runs and debriefs, and feed what you learn in delivery back into the design

Learning design

Design blended learning programmes and multi-month learning journeys for enterprise clients: impact goals, learning objectives, module structure, session sequencing and learning transfer tasks

Decide the pedagogical approach, format and instructional method for each engagement, based on the client’s maturity, audience and business goals

Develop course content, exercises, facilitator guides and learner materials, and keep the existing course library current as the AI landscape moves

Client work and AI expertise

Lead scoping and diagnostic conversations with L&D leads, heads of function and senior stakeholders, and challenge the brief where it won’t achieve the stated outcome

Contribute to proposals and pre-sales conversations: scoping, feasibility, effort estimation

Maintain current, hands-on expertise across the generative AI landscape, with particular depth in the Microsoft ecosystem, including Copilot, M365 and Power Platform (but not exclusively)

Act as a reference point on learning design and AI capability for our freelance trainers, including onboarding and reviewing their sessions

What you bring

Several years of instructional design or L&D experience in which you owned programme architecture end to end, ideally for corporate audiences

Proven experience facilitating live training for enterprise audiences, including senior and technical participants

Practitioner-level expertise with generative AI tools: you build, troubleshoot and teach with them, not just follow the news

The ability to make complex technical material accessible to non-technical audiences

Experience with large enterprise clients and their stakeholder environments

German at completely fluent level (C2). You will design and facilitate in German for German clients

English at C1 or above. Our company language is English: team communication, internal documentation and all interviews are in English, and you will facilitate in English too

Based in Germany

An advantage: working knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Copilot, M365, Power Platform)

What we offer

Fully remote work within Germany, with occasional travel for client delivery and team meetings

Quarterly team on-sites

30 vacation days per year

Urban Sports membership

A small, fast team where what you build is used by thousands of learners within week

All interviews are in English. We aim to complete the process within 4 weeks of your application.

Apply

Send us your CV and, if you have one, an example of a learning programme or session you designed/facilitated. A long cover letter is not needed; a few lines on why this role is interesting to you are.
