The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on experience developing secure, scalable applications across the .NET and Java technology stacks. This role requires a developer who can work across the full software development lifecycle — from design and development through deployment and support — while collaborating closely with technical leads, architects, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet Federal performance and security standards.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain web applications and services using C#, .NET Core/Framework, Java, and Spring Boot
Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices for integration across enterprise systems
Build and maintain responsive, dynamic front-end applications using Angular, React, or similar frameworks
Collaborate with architects and business analysts to translate requirements into technical designs and deliverables
Support modernization of legacy systems into cloud-native architectures using Azure or AWS
Perform code reviews, unit testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality, maintainable code
Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups
Troubleshoot production issues and support continuous improvement of development processes
Maintain compliance with federal cybersecurity and quality assurance standards
Qualifications
Required
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline
5+ years of hands-on software development experience with .NET (C#) and Java (Spring Boot)
Strong front-end development skills with Angular, React, or similar modern frameworks
Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and object-oriented design principles
Proficiency with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
Familiarity with Azure or AWS cloud environments and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
Experience with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies
US Citizenship required; must be eligible for a Public Trust clearance
Preferred
Experience developing applications in a Federal IT consulting environment
Knowledge of API gateways, message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ), and system integrations across .NET and Java
Experience with DevSecOps pipelines and automated testing tools
Cloud certifications (Azure Developer Associate, AWS Developer, etc.)
Familiarity with FISMA, FedRAMP, and NIST compliance standards
