About project and role:
The product VPN - Super Unlimited Proxy is a Virtual Private Network that provides users online privacy and anonymity by creating a private network from a public internet connection.
The company has over 44M MAUs (and growing) with a solid customer base in the US and worldwide. In iOS, Out of the top markets we track worldwide, upon searching for the keyword VPN in the App Store, they are the #1 product in 32 out of 40 countries follow (including in the US, all of Western Europe, etc.) and in the top 3 for all 40 countries. In addition, they have been consistently ranked in the top 10 productivity apps in the US, right up with Google Docs, Google Sheets, etc.
The product has >1.6M very high-quality ratings in iOS alone.
Now we are looking for driven, high-energy desktop/mobile QA Engineers with a solid background in desktop/mobile testing who can work across multiple applications and ensure smooth operations and the best user experience for the company's apps. The candidate should be a confident Windows user with a solid understanding of how Windows works. Experience is required not only with standard functionality, but also with system tools used for diagnostics and configuration.
Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Mobile Development, DevOps, and stakeholder teams.
Help the Customer Service Support team to troubleshoot user issues.
Verify initial task requirements.
Review, update, and execute test cases.
Pre-release and post-release activities.
Bug Reporting, verification of the fixes and changes, further monitoring
Requirements:
3+ years of practical experience as a QA engineer with a strong focus on test automation
Confident Windows user with strong system-level knowledge, including diagnostic and configuration tools, not just standard functionality
Solid knowledge of Java or C#, .NET, and automation frameworks; ability to design scalable and reusable solutions
Experience of Appium + Selenium + TestNG or FlaUI + NUnit
Experience using AI in coding
Deep understanding of test automation patterns and standards
Experience with DB and knowledge of SQL
Experience REST API
Practical experience with: GitHub
Experience in writing test documentation, Design Techniques, Use Cases, test plans, etc.
Tools: JMeter, Postman, Charles, PowerShell (nice-to-have), Figma.
Good understanding of UX/UI principles
Good understanding of SDLC;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Jenkins will be a strong plus
Experience Alure report will be a plus
English - Intermediate+
