About the Role:
We are seeking an Associate Partner – IBA & Credit Controlto join Augment Risk.The rolewill beto oversee the day-to-dayhands-onmanagement of Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA) within Augment Risk. This role acts as the key link between Finance and Broking Operations, ensuring theaccurateandtimelyprocessing of premium and claims funds, effective credit control, and compliance with regulatory and internal accounting standards.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience within reinsurance broking accounts and a proven ability towork oncomplex financial transactions while building strong relationships across the business.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the end-to-endhands-onmanagement of Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA).
Act as the primary liaison between Finance,brokingandClient Solutionsto ensure efficient processing of financial transactions.
Monitor andmanage collections, ensuringtimelyreceipt of funds from clients and brokers.
Ensure prompt settlement of balances.
Allocate incoming cash accurately across multiple accounts and transactions.
Perform regular account reconciliations,investigatingand resolving discrepanciesin a timelymanner.
Lead credit control activities, proactivelymanaging ageddebtand improving cash collection performance.
Work closely with brokers, financeteamsand external counterparties to resolve accounting queries.
Monitor cash flow across broking accounts and identify potential risks or delays.
Ensure compliance with FCA CASS rules, internalcontrolsand company policies (where applicable).
Producemanagement information and reports relating to aged debt, cash allocation,reconciliationsand outstanding balances.
Support process improvements and driveefficiencies.
Requirements:
Minimum of 8years'hands-on, operationalexperience within Insurance Broking Accounts (IBA).
Strong experience within the reinsurancebrokingmarket.
Excellent understanding of premium accounting, cashallocationand reconciliations.
Proven experience in credit control and debtmanagement.
Strong understanding ofbrokingaccounting processes and financial controls.
Ability to work effectively between Finance and Operations teams.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail withhigh levelsof accuracy.
Excellent communication and stakeholdermanagement skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and financial systems.
