Backend Engineer PostgreSQL / AI

Salary: CHF 120'000 - 140'000 per year

Requirements:

Several years of experience in backend development

Strong expertise in PostgreSQL and relational databases

Good knowledge of JavaScript / TypeScript

Strong SQL skills, ideally including PL/pgSQL

Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, AI agents or AI-assisted development workflows

Responsibilities:

Develop and continuously improve backend services and data-driven applications

Design, model and optimize PostgreSQL databases

Develop complex SQL / PLpgSQL functions, transactions and data migrations

Build and further develop integrations and APIs

Develop modern backend solutions using JavaScript / TypeScript

Work with Next.js in a backend / server-side context

Build scalable, serverless solutions

Contribute to AI-powered workflows and AI agents
