Position: Bilingual Spanish STEM Expert (PhD) — AI Safety

Type:Contract

Compensation:$58–$62/hour

Location:Remote

Role Responsibilities

Write expert-level prompts in Spanish across specialized scientific topics.

Evaluate and annotate model responses for scientific accuracy and appropriate handling of sensitive content.

Apply structured guidelines to classify prompts and conversations.

Work independently and asynchronously to improve AI model safety.

Collaborate with AI research teams to ensure accuracy and depth in model outputs.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in chemistry, biology, or a related field.

Native or near-native fluency in Spanish and business-level written English.

Familiarity with modern laboratory and computational techniques.

Sound judgment in scientific safety and responsible handling of dual-use information.

Preferred

Based in Spain or Western Europe.

Expertise in radiochemistry, nuclear chemistry, or related fields.

Depth in specific subfields like organic synthesis or molecular biology.

Experience in chemical safety, biosafety, or hazardous-materials handling.

Experience reviewing or grading technical content.
