What the posting says
We believe that the way people interact with their finances will drastically improve in the next few years. We’re dedicated to empowering this transformation by building the tools and experiences that thousands of developers use to create their own products. Plaid powers the tools millions of people rely on to live a healthier financial life. We work with thousands of companies like Venmo, SoFi, several of the Fortune 500, and many of the largest banks to make it easy for people to connect their financial accounts to the apps and services they want to use. Plaid’s network covers 12,000 financial institutions across the US, Canada, UK and Europe. Founded in 2013, the company is headquartered in San Francisco with offices in New York, Seattle, Washington D.C., Raleigh, London, and Amsterdam.
Attracting and retaining exceptional talent is critical to Plaid's success. As we continue to grow and scale, our Recruiting team plays a strategic role in building high-performing teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
We're looking for an experienced Business Recruiter who can drive full-cycle recruiting, build strong partnerships with business leaders, and help shape how we attract and hire top talent. You'll bring a consultative mindset, strong execution, and the ability to navigate competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
What excites you:
Own full-cycle recruiting across Plaid's Business functions, from developing sourcing strategies and building pipelines to managing interviews and closing top talent.
Partner strategically with business leaders and hiring managers to understand organizational priorities, develop hiring strategies, and deliver against critical talent needs.
Drive recruiting excellence by leveraging market insights, data, and recruiting best practices to influence hiring decisions and improve outcomes.
Build and engage diverse talent pipelines through proactive sourcing, relationship building, and creative approaches to identifying exceptional candidates.
Champion a high hiring bar by providing thoughtful talent assessments, advising hiring teams, and driving consistent, effective hiring processes.
Elevate the candidate experience by ensuring every candidate has a thoughtful, transparent, and engaging experience throughout the hiring process.
Improve how we hire by identifying opportunities to streamline processes, increase efficiency, and scale recruiting practices as the business evolves.
What excites us:
5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, ideally supporting Business, GTM, G&A, or other corporate functions in a high-growth environment.
Proven ability to independently manage complex searches and deliver results across multiple roles and competing priorities.
Strong business partnership and influencing skills, with experience advising hiring managers and senior stakeholders on talent strategy, market dynamics, and hiring decisions.
A proactive, resourceful approach to sourcing and building high-quality talent pipelines in competitive markets.
A data-driven mindset, with the ability to leverage recruiting metrics and market insights to identify challenges and drive improvements.
Comfort navigating ambiguity and change, with the ability to adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and maintain momentum.
A high level of ownership, sound judgment, and attention to detail, paired with excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
A collaborative, continuous-improvement mindset and genuine enthusiasm for Plaid's mission, products, and the fintech industry.
Our mission at Plaid is to unlock financial freedom for everyone. To support that mission, we seek to build a diverse team of driven individuals who care deeply about making the financial ecosystem more equitable.
