Who we are

About Stripe

Stripe is a financial infrastructure platform for businesses. Millions of companies - from the world’s largest enterprises to the most ambitious startups - use Stripe to accept payments, grow their revenue, and accelerate new business opportunities. Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone's reach while doing the most important work of your career.

About the team

At its core, Stripe is a treasury company, and the Treasury Finance team (TFIN) is key to building the Global Payments and Treasury Network (GPTN). Within TFIN, the FX team collaborates closely with product, engineering, sales, and finance teams to manage Stripe’s Corporate and User related FX risk. This includes creating pricing models to keep pace with product expansion and developing hedging strategies to mitigate the risks to Stripe’s profitability.

Stripe supports global commerce across 135+ currencies including digital assets. As a result, Stripe needs to build and maintain platform systems capable of pricing, estimating and hedging the resulting FX exposures.
