The Billing Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day invoicing activity of an assigned client portfolio. The analyst is responsible for the accuracy and integrity of the billing data related to the client’s relocation program. The main task of the Billing Specialist is responsible for the timely and accurate invoicing of all expenses as well as managing the month/quarter/year-end presorting processes. They ensure and support any queries coming from the client or internal SIRVA teams like Collections and Account management and respond timely within the established guidelines. In addition, they are a resource to our clients, to the Client Service team and the rest of the department to answer tax and expense questions. This position will interact daily with the Client Service delivery team and may also interact with a Client’s internal/external accounting and global mobility teams.

FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

80% Responsible for the preparation of invoicing to clients, which includes all required invoicing reports and reconciliation as well as thoroughly documenting reasons why items were not billed per scheduled due dates and escalate when obstacles consistently prevent billing. 15% Responsible for timely responding to any queries and facilitate resolution related to billing challenges both externally and internally. Communicating any inconsistencies and errors to the processing teams. Updating any training or client guides related to billing and other processes. 5% Participate and support any projects related to billing or other areas of client support as deemed appropriate by client finance leadership. Process urgent payment requests if directed by leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS AND PREFERRED SKILLS

Must be detail oriented and have good analytical skills

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Strong organization skills

Ability to work successfully in a team and deadline driven environment

Financial/Accounting knowledge preferred

Intermediate level of Excel skills

Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent experience

Position Title: Client Finance Billing Analyst

Salary Range: $40,000.00 - $59,000.00 USD
