What the posting says

We're looking for a Clinician Onboarding Specialist to own the onboarding experience for new clinicians joining a fast-growing virtual behavioral health platform. You will lead three-hour live onboarding calls, walk clinicians through the EHR platform and payroll system via screen share, prepare materials ahead of each session, support clinicians with follow-up questions afterward, and flag recurring issues to help the onboarding process improve over time.

This role is currently owned by a company leader at approximately 20 hours per week. You are taking over a high-priority function that directly shapes how hundreds of clinicians experience their first weeks on the platform. Communication quality and energy are non-negotiable. You will be on live calls with large cohorts of clinicians, keeping them engaged and informed across a three-hour session. If you have healthcare onboarding or clinical support experience, are confident presenting on live calls, and bring the energy and professionalism to represent the company well with every clinician you onboard, this role is a strong fit.

Why You'll Want to Join

You will be paid in USD (bi-monthly: every 15th and 30th)

Paid Time Off in accordance with company policy

Observance of Holidays per company guidelines

100% remote setup so you can work wherever you're most productive

This role requires availability Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM US Pacific Time

Own a high-priority onboarding function at a mission-driven behavioral health platform serving one of the most underserved patient populations in the US

Direct, long-term role with real impact on clinician experience and operational quality

What You'll Work On

Live Onboarding Calls

Lead three-hour onboarding calls with newly hired clinicians via video conference

Share your screen and walk clinicians through the EHR platform step by step, covering workflows, documentation, scheduling, and platform navigation

Walk clinicians through the payroll system including timesheet entry and setup in Rippling or a comparable platform

Keep large cohorts of clinicians engaged, focused, and confident throughout the full session with strong energy and clear communication

Answer questions live during the call and handle a range of technical and process-related inquiries with composure

Preparation and Setup

Prepare all materials, presentations, and platform setups ahead of each onboarding session

Coordinate logistics including participant lists, calendar invites, and any pre-call communication to clinicians

Ensure every session is set up for a smooth, professional experience from the first minute

Follow-Up Support

Respond to clinician questions after the onboarding call via email or messaging with accurate, timely answers

Track outstanding questions and ensure every clinician receives a complete response

Escalate complex or clinical questions to the appropriate internal team member

Process Improvement and Flagging

Identify recurring questions, confusion points, or friction in the onboarding process and flag them to the internal team with clear documentation

Contribute to improving onboarding materials, scripts, and workflows over time based on what you observe in each session

What You Bring

Strong written and verbal English communication skills with a clear, professional, and warm delivery — an accent is fine as long as communication is clear and confident

Healthcare experience, ideally in behavioral health, therapy, or clinical support

Comfort navigating and presenting EHR platforms on live screen-share calls; familiarity with Tebra is a strong plus

Experience walking clinicians or staff through onboarding processes including healthcare guidelines, policies, and platform navigation

Familiarity with payroll systems such as Rippling, Gusto, or similar; Rippling experience is preferred

Strong energy and presence on live video calls with the ability to keep a large group engaged across an extended session

Proficient with Google Workspace, Notion, Airtable, and similar productivity and collaboration tools

Well-organized and self-directed with the ability to manage preparation, execution, and follow-up across multiple onboarding cohorts simultaneously

Available Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time

Nice to Have

Background in credentialing, revenue cycle management, scheduling, or provider support in a healthcare setting

Experience supporting clinician onboarding at a telehealth, virtual care, or behavioral health platform

Familiarity with Tebra or similar behavioral health EHR platforms

Experience managing onboarding programs for large cohorts across multiple sessions
