About the Role

We are looking for a Compliance Analyst to support regulatory topics across the many of our agenda — payments, credit, credit cards, Open Finance — with a focus on Central Bank regulation. You will be accountable for your own analyses, advisories, and deliverables, and you will work shoulder to shoulder with other analysts and specialists on the team's most complex regulatory matters.

This is a hands-on position with real ownership. Because our agenda evolves with the regulatory landscape, the scope of topics you cover will change over time: we are looking for someone who treats that breadth as an advantage, not a burden, and who can reach a high standard of analysis quickly on a subject they have never worked on before.

We are also actively rethinking how compliance work gets done, using AI and automation to raise the quality and the speed of our analyses. This role is expected to be part of that: not only using AI in the day-to-day, but questioning our own processes and flows and proposing better ones.

The position requires working and interfacing with multiple partners and teams, evaluating new regulations, and advising business areas on products and procedures.

You’ll be Responsible for

Monitoring newly published regulation and market best practices, and summarizing the main changes and to-dos of a new rule with precision;

Analyzing regulations in depth and determining their impacts on our products, processes, and environment;

Advising business areas on regulatory matters related to products and procedures, and assisting in decision-making;

Performing regulatory analysis in the approval flow of new products, services, and features;

Assessing and challenging the action plans defined by business units, and monitoring their implementation;

Registering and tracking action plans to comply with regulatory requirements and deadlines;

Running regulatory tests together with the Compliance team;

Prevention and detection of anomalies that may result in regulatory gaps;

Coordinating, monitoring, and answering inquiries, inspections, and requests from regulators;

Managing your own activities and prioritization to meet internal and regulatory deadlines;

Preparing and delivering training related to compliance matters;

Applying AI tools to your own routines and reviewing our processes and flows with a critical eye, proposing and implementing improvements that make the team's work more efficient and more reliable;

Contributing to the team's cross-cutting demands, including the operational routines that sustain our regulatory agenda.

We're Looking For Someone Who Has

Required

Previous experience in compliance itself — regulatory compliance activities, interactions with regulators, regulatory matters related to financial products and services, controls, and/or risk management in a financial or tech company;

Experience with at least one of our core themes: payments, credit, credit cards, or Open Finance;

Experience interpreting regulation related to banking products and processes (Central Bank regulation), whether through assessment, implementation, or consultancy.

Clear, structured, and objective communication. You can take a dense piece of regulation and explain what matters, to whom, and by when — in writing and in presentations — without losing rigor;

Fast learning. You reach a reliable level of analysis on an unfamiliar regulation or business context quickly, going after information and knowledge independently rather than waiting to be briefed;

Ability to handle multidisciplinarity. You can carry several distinct topics at the same time and switch between them without dropping quality or deadlines;

Curiosity, motivation, and energy to take on any theme in our scope, with a genuine interest in understanding how the business works behind the rule;

Fluency and curiosity with AI. You are comfortable using AI in your daily work — and curious about where else it could be applied — with the judgment to know when its output needs to be checked. You will be expected to bring that curiosity to our own routines: mapping how a process works today, spotting what is manual or repetitive, and proposing flows that deliver the same control with less effort;

Continuous improvement mindset. You question why a process works the way it does instead of simply inheriting it, and you turn that into concrete proposals;

Strong interpretation and logical thinking, with the ability to analyze new rules in depth and assess their impacts;

Hands-on approach and ownership mentality;

Negotiation, prioritization, and organizational skills;

Ability to connect and build strong relationships with squads and stakeholders, negotiating deadlines and implementations, and knowing when to escalate;

Ability to work autonomously, with high standards for your own deliverables;

Intermediate or Advanced English.

Nice to Have

Experience structuring and measuring KPIs/KRIs and presenting information in dashboard and report formats;

Familiarity with JIRA, automation, queries, SQL, or other programming languages to extract and manipulate data;

Concrete examples of process or workflow improvements you have designed and implemented, with or without AI;
