CRM Manager- Consumer
Team description
SumUp's Consumer Bank is building the next generation of an everyday financial product. The Consumer CRM team turns every new sign-up into an active, engaged customer by designing the journeys that guide people from onboarding through to their first transaction and beyond. As the business enters a major growth phase in 2027, you'll take ownership of this activation funnel, build the lifecycle comms that bring each new launch to life, and have a direct hand in lifting one of our most important conversion metrics.
What you'll do
Build and launch event driven activation journeys that guide new customers through sign up, KYC, first fund and first transaction, across push, email, in app, WhatsApp and SMS
Write clear, on-brand campaign copy for every channel, from push notifications to email, supported by AI agents built for the job
Build audience segments, track daily performance and run A/B tests on copy, timing and channel
Partner with Product and GTM teams across six markets to ensure every new launch has its lifecycle communications ready for launch and tailored to each market.
What you'll bring
Experience in CRM or lifecycle marketing ideally within fintech or another mobile-first product
Hands-on experience with a modern CRM platform such as Iterable, Braze or Customer.io
Comfort working across push, email and in-app messaging, with basic SQL for audience checks and reporting
Comfort designing and interpreting A/B tests to drive continuous improvement in customer engagement
Strong knowledge of segmentation and personalisation techniques, with the ability to tailor messaging for different customer groups
Track record of developing and executing retention and lifecycle marketing strategies for existing customers
Ability to collaborate closely with Product, Data, Localisatoin and Design teams to bring campaigns to life
