Data Center Delivery/Operation Engineer

Salary: 59.000 - 59.000 € per year

Requirements:

Relevant professional or project experience in data centers, IT infrastructure, telecommunications, critical facilities, or other technical environments is preferred

Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and hands-on execution skills

Ability to work effectively in an on-site, mission-critical environment

Strong ownership and operational discipline

Educational background is flexible; relevant practical experience is highly valued

Fluent Mandarin Chinese, as Chinese will be used for daily work communication

Working proficiency in English

German language skills are an advantage

Valid authorization to work in Germany

Willingness to work on-site and support multiple data center locations when required

A valid driving licence is an advantage

Responsibilities:

Daily operation and maintenance of data center systems and infrastructure

System monitoring and alert handling

Incident response, troubleshooting, and problem resolution

Server and GPU server hardware support

Network and infrastructure maintenance

Linux system support

Multi-site operational coordination

Critical facility operations and infrastructure monitoring

Operational documentation, reporting, and process improvement

Deployment and delivery of data center IT infrastructure

Server and network equipment installation

Rack-and-stack, equipment removal, replacement, and migration

GPU server and AI infrastructure deployment

Data center relocation and IT infrastructure migration

Structured cabling, fiber and copper connections, patching, labeling, and cable management

Hardware inspection and troubleshooting during deployment

Site surveys and deployment preparation

Coordination with customers, vendors, contractors, and data center site teams

Project progress, equipment status, and delivery milestone tracking

Testing, acceptance, handover, and project closure

Project documentation and asset information management
