Location:

For an international organization in New York, we are urgently looking for a REMOTE Data Lakehouse/BI Specialist. Candidates should be an experienced hands-on data lakehouse specialist with a history of working in an agile environment. Ideally, candidates should have hands on experience in designing and implementing data lakehouse architecture.

Candidates need to be fluent in English. All positions are long-term. This position is open for contractors and employees.

Candidates need to be able to work 4-6 hours per day in the normal office hours of New York, US.

Tasks and responsibilities:

Work with an agile team to design and implement data lakehouse architecture and BI models;

Translate design specifications and functional requirements into data lakehouse architecture and BI models;

Data import, transformation and loading to data lakehouse from MongoDB;

Develop and implement data visualization and interactive dashboards;

Merge code into shared repositories, validate code, and perform quality assurance;

Implement BI-based dashboard reporting to generate and share insights;

Profile:

+2 years of experience working with AWS BI and data lakehouse tools;

Experience designing and implementing data lakehouse;

Experience designing and implementing BI data visualization and interactive dashboards;

Experience with Kafka or other similar large-scale messaging technologies;

Experience implementing BI-based dashboard reporting;

Experience with MEAN stack framework is an advantage;

Knowledge and understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum procedures, CI/CD and Automation;
