WHO WE ARE?

Being the daughter company of Swisscom - leading telecommunications company and one of the most sustainable and innovative companies in Switzerland - we share the same values, vision and goals.

As a trustworthy and efficient Swisscom IT service partner, we create valuable customer experiences. We work in strong collaboration with our partners in Switzerland and attract and retain high performers.

We're expanding our footprint in Lisbon and are looking for an AI Platform Engineer to join our growing AI team.

We invite driven professionals to join us, grow with us, and help shape the future.

The team / project

As part of the TelcoCloud Enabler Services team, you will drive the adoption of an Infrastructure as Code philosophy across our IT infrastructure, from initial concept through to delivery. You will help evolve our pipelining framework, work across teams with your CI/CD expertise and play an active role in supporting and monitoring live operational systems.

The team is built on a culture of helpfulness and mutual motivation. Because we handle a wide range of services, we regularly pair up on stories to keep knowledge flowing across the team. You thrive in an agile environment and take ownership of diverse tasks in a DevOps setting.

What you'll do

Infrastructure as Code: Design, implement and operate Infrastructure as Code solutions for the TelcoCloud IaaS layer.

Solution architecture: Evaluate technology options, define design patterns and propose scalable approaches for new and evolving enabler services.

CI/CD: Develop and maintain our CI/CD pipelineframework and automation tooling on GitLab CI.

Enabler services: Engineer and operate key services including IAM (OpenLDAP), Vault, Bacula, Zabbix and HA clusters.

Linux & virtualisation: Manage Linux system engineering, KVM virtualisation, secrets management and logging infrastructure.

Configuration management: Implement and improve configuration management with Puppet or Ansible.

Monitoring & backup: Maintain and improve monitoring, alerting and backup systems.

Automation: Build automation and integration tooling in Python and Bash, from small scripts to larger solutions.

Operations: Take part in the 24/7 on-call rotation and handle operational incidents.
