What the posting says
Description
Adaptive6 is the industry's first Cloud Cost Governance platform, helping enterprises maximize cloud efficiency by optimizing their infrastructure. The platform continuously scans multi-cloud, PaaS, and Infrastructure-as-Code environments, uncovering hundreds of hidden inefficiencies that are typically overlooked. Inspired by cybersecurity methodologies, it accelerates remediation with AI-driven code fixes and proactively prevents waste before deployment through shift-left cost policies.
With rapid adoption among Fortune 500 companies, we are expanding our world-class team to meet growing demand
We're hiring an Enterprise Account Executive to own net-new logo acquisition at the top of the market. This is a hunter role, full stop: self-sourced pipeline, competitive multi-stakeholder sales cycles, and six- and seven-figure outcomes. It is not a farmer role, not an inbound-fed closer seat, and not a technical demo seat.
You will sell top-down to economic buyers — CTOs, CISOs, VPs of Cloud/Infrastructure, and VPs of Engineering — building urgency and budget priority in a category many organizations haven't fully budgeted for yet. The strongest candidates will have proven this exact motion before: creating a business case from a technical problem, expanding a deal beyond its original scope, and winning against multiple credible competitors rather than closing on brand or inbound demand alone.
What you'll do:
Own the full sales cycle for net-new enterprise accounts — from self-sourced prospecting through negotiation and close.
Build and sustain executive-level relationships, mapping organizations and multi-threading across buying committees.
Conduct deep discovery to uncover cloud cost drivers and governance gaps, translating them into business-value cases for C-level buyers.
Negotiate and close six- and seven-figure contracts in competitive, multi-stakeholder deals.
Partner cross-functionally with Sales Engineering, Product, and Customer Success to run technically credible, value-led cycles.
Consistently meet or exceed quarterly bookings and pipeline generation targets.
Requirements
7+ years of full-cycle enterprise SaaS sales experience with a pure "Hunter" mindset focused on net-new logo acquisition.
3+ years selling into Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure, CSPM, DevOps, or FinOps personas.
Proven track record of hitting quota and closing six- and seven-figure contracts ($150K+ ACV).
Demonstrated experience in Top-Down selling to C-level buyers (CTOs, CISOs, VPs of Cloud/Infra).
Conversant in cloud infrastructure concepts (AWS/Azure/GCP, FinOps, K8s, Savings Plans) without relying solely on an SE.
Strong grounding in enterprise sales methodologies, with a proven ability to create urgency, reframe buyer thinking, and multi-thread complex deals.
