About CYBERA

Scamsdrained$450 billionfrom consumers last year, up 19% in two years, and the number keeps growing as scammer armies use AI at scale. Every bank, insurer, fintech, and crypto exchange is increasingly on the hook to cover losses as new regulations to protect consumers are enacted. Every fraud tool on the market today fails at this usecase, whenvictims legitimately authorize payments. To the bank, transactions look normal, controlsnever fire, and just like that the money is gone.

CYBERA goes upstream to disrupt thescameconomy. Our agenticscamdefense platform engages scammers at scale, turnsthem into informants, andcapturesthe mule accounts they plan to use before anyone loses money. Banks, insurers, and payment companies use CYBERA to know their bad accounts before money moves in and freeze payments to bad accounts before money heads out. When scammers are successful, CYBERA's agentic response engine traces, freezes, and helps recover funds, dramatically improving consumer outcomes. Leading banks, insurers, and crypto exchanges use CYBERA to cut fraud losses, speed up victim recovery, and turn everyscamattempt into intelligence that protects the next customer.

Every Cyberian is a disruptor, using AI for good to stop financial crime at scale. If taking on this$450 billionproblem sounds like your kind of work,we'dlike to meet you. Learn more at.

About the role

CYBERA already serves significant customers in the UK and across Europe. As Account Executive, Europe, you'll take that foundation and turn it into a scaled regional business across the UK, France, Spain, and Portugal. You sell to banks, payment companies, fintechs, and other financial institutions facing rising scam losses and new reimbursement rules. You decide which markets and accounts to prioritize, use our existing European customers as proof points, open doors with no prior relationship, and win the next wave of logos. Your edge is CYBERA's own intelligence: mule accounts we have found on a prospect's books, scam trends hitting their customers, and research on the people who own the problem. This role starts as a hands-on AE with an entrepreneurial mandate. You own the European growth plan. As the region grows, you grow with it into the commercial leader for Europe, hiring and leading the team.

What you'll do

Own CYBERA's commercial growth in Europe, with focus on the UK, France, Spain, and Portugal

Assess each market and focus effort on the countries, segments, and accounts with the fastest path to revenue

Prospect, pursue, and close new accounts across banks, payment companies, fintechs, and neobanks

Run cold outbound across email, phone, LinkedIn, events, and referrals

Find creative ways to reach fraud, AML, and payments leaders who ignore standard outreach

Use CYBERA resources to earn meetings, including Mule Intelligence briefings, target account research, scam data, European customer references, and executive introductions

Position CYBERA against regional drivers such as UK APP fraud reimbursement and EU payment and anti-fraud regulation

Map buying committees and build champions across fraud, risk, compliance, and operations

Work with account management to expand within existing European customers

Lead discovery, demos, and proof-of-concept plans with support from product and engineering

Build relationships with regional partners, industry bodies, and fraud information-sharing groups

Represent CYBERA at European fraud and payments events

Report pipeline, forecast, and market learnings to leadership, and shape the European go-to-market plan

Qualifications

5+ years of quota-carrying experience selling to banks and financial institutions in Europe

Proven record of new logo acquisition in a hunter role

Track record of breaking into accounts with no prior relationship

Experience selling fraud, AML, risk, compliance, or security solutions to financial institutions

Working knowledge of the UK and at least one of the French, Spanish, or Portuguese banking markets

Comfort with long sales cycles and multi-stakeholder buying committees

Founder-level ownership. You take a strong base and build a larger business with limited structure around you

Sound judgment on where to focus. You prioritize markets and accounts based on evidence, not volume

Clear, direct communication with executives and technical teams

Based in Europe, with flexibility to travel across the region

It's a plus if you have:

Fluency in French, Spanish, or Portuguese in addition to English

An active network of fraud, financial crime, or payments leaders at European banks

Experience scaling a region or country for a US or international company

Experience at an early-stage or high-growth startup

Familiarity with authorized push payment scams, money mules, instant payments, or Verification of Payee

Experience co-selling with channel or technology partners

Why this role

Scale a European business with real customers and momentum behind it

Sell a product built for the scams every other fraud tool misses

Work directly with leadership and shape the regional strategy

Clear path from Account Executive to commercial leader for Europe as the region grows

How we work

At CYBERA, how we work matters as much as what we achieve. We Deliver the Outcome by staying curious, thinking things through, and focusing on real customer value. We Do It as a Team through collaboration, empathy, and respectful candor. And we Adapt and Own It, adapting quickly and staying focused when priorities change, as they often do in a growing company.
