What the posting says

Company Overview

Deepgram is the leading platform underpinning the emerging trillion-dollar Voice AI economy, providing real-time APIs for speech-to-text (STT), text-to-speech (TTS), and building production-grade voice agents at scale. More than 200,000 developers and 1,300+ organizations build voice offerings that are ‘Powered by Deepgram’, including Twilio, Cloudflare, Sierra, Decagon, Vapi, Daily, Cresta, Granola, and Jack in the Box. Deepgram’s voice-native foundation models are accessed through cloud APIs or as self-hosted and on-premises software, with unmatched accuracy, low latency, and cost efficiency. Backed by a recent Series C led by leading global investors and strategic partners, Deepgram has processed over 50,000 years of audio and transcribed more than 1 trillion words. There is no organization in the world that understands voice better than Deepgram.

Company Operating Rhythm

At Deepgram, we expect an AI-first mindset—AI use and comfort aren’t optional, they’re core to how we operate, innovate, and measure performance.

Every team member who works at Deepgram is expected to actively use and experiment with advanced AI tools, and even build your own into your everyday work. We measure how effectively AI is applied to deliver results, and consistent, creative use of the latest AI capabilities is key to success here. Candidates should be comfortable adopting new models and modes quickly, integrating AI into their workflows, and continuously pushing the boundaries of what these technologies can do.

Additionally, we move at the pace of AI. Change is rapid, and you can expect your day-to-day work to evolve just as quickly. This may not be the right role if you’re not excited to experiment, adapt, think on your feet, and learn constantly, or if you’re seeking something highly prescriptive with a traditional 9-to-5.

The Opportunity:

This is an early hire in the Deepgram For Restaurants business and the person will start off owning in-market customer deployments. You will lead end-to-end execution of our AI implementations – connecting dots and solving problems between the nexus of the customer (both corporate and in-store employees, and consumers) as well as the Deepgram for Restaurants product/software team. The mission of the job is to make the product work like magic at each customer deployment, build momentum to expand within each customer and open pathways into new logos.

What You’ll Do

Deeply understand our customers business – even better than they do – and be an expert on Deepgram’s product offerings.

Partner with our Sales, Product, and Engineering to scope, build, and ship AI agents that handle thousands of customer interactions a day.

Serve as the primary point of contact for large enterprise stakeholders and ensure flawless delivery of complex AI solutions across enterprise deployments

Monitor performance, adoption, and feedback from live deployments

Translate field insights into actionable product requirements for eng/AI teams

Help define and refine ROI metrics that drive large expansion deals

It’s Important To Us That You Have

Strong customer-facing instincts: can manage corporate relationships and can anticipate and avoid issues, deftly de-escalate problems, and build confidence and evangelical support from customer decision makers

Deep curiosity and operational empathy — loves to spend time in-store where the magic happens and you think of yourself as an AI user anthropologist

Although this is not explicitly a product management role, you have a product management “vibe” and any engineer interfacing with you would think you are a product manager

High slope: Learns fast, goes beyond role boundaries, thrives in ambiguity, play maker orientation, focus on doing what is right, intense need to win

It Would Be Great if You Had

Experience in QSR, retail, or field operations.

Previous early-stage startup experience.

Exposure to data labeling, product ops, or implementation at tech co's.

Consulting or entrepreneurial background (e.g., ex-BCG or former founder).
