About Ramp
Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies: authorizing payments, flagging risk, categorizing spend, and closing books.
The problems are high-stakes, data-dense, and unforgiving.
We hire people with high agency and high urgency. We look for slope over intercept. We care less about where you trained and more about what you’ve built. At Ramp, everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape the outcome.
The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year – far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp. We believe every ambitious company deserves the same.
If you want to build systems that directly shape how companies move and manage billions, Ramp is the place to do it.
About the Role
Ramp is hiring Executive Assistants to partner with senior leaders across the company. Our EAs play a critical role in helping executives operate at their best—creating focus, removing friction, anticipating needs, and ensuring important work moves forward.
This is more than calendar and logistics management. You’ll serve as a trusted partner to your executives, using strong judgment, operational rigor, and modern tools to create leverage in a fast-moving environment. The work is highly visible and constantly evolving, offering exposure to some of Ramp’s most important teams, priorities, and decisions.
We are currently hiring three Executive Assistants to support leaders across GTM, Finance, and Legal. We generally look for the same core qualities across our EA team: exceptional judgment, discretion, adaptability, and the ability to build trusted partnerships. During the initial conversations, we’ll learn more about your experience and preferences and discuss where there may be the strongest mutual fit.
This role is based in our New York City office. We default to being in the office at least three days a week.
What You'll Do
Partner closely with senior leaders to manage their time, priorities, and day-to-day execution
Own complex, high-volume calendar management across multiple executives, navigating frequent changes and competing priorities
Manage executive inboxes as needed, including triaging communications, drafting responses, flagging urgent matters, and ensuring important items receive timely attention
Coordinate domestic and international travel with close attention to efficiency, executive preferences, and changing business needs
Plan and execute leadership meetings, offsites, team events, customer or partner engagements, and cross-functional working sessions
Draft, organize, and manage communications on behalf of executives when appropriate
Serve as a central coordination point across internal teams and external stakeholders, ensuring clarity, alignment, and follow-through
Track action items, deadlines, and commitments, proactively prompting executives and partners to keep work moving
Manage budgets, expenses, and vendor relationships on behalf of executives
Handle sensitive business, financial, legal, customer, and personnel information with exceptional discretion
Identify inefficiencies and build lightweight systems, documentation, and workflows that improve speed and organization
Use AI, automation, and modern tooling to eliminate repetitive work and create greater leverage for yourself and your executives
Continuously look for ways to anticipate needs and improve how work gets done
What You Need
3+ years of experience supporting senior executives in a fast-paced, high-accountability environment
Proven ability to manage complex calendars, shifting priorities, and multiple high-priority workstreams
Strong organizational instincts and exceptional attention to detail—you anticipate what’s needed and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Sound judgment about when to act independently, when to seek context, and when to escalate
High discretion and comfort handling sensitive or confidential information
Clear, concise written and verbal communication skills
High EQ and the ability to build trust quickly with executives, cross-functional partners, and external stakeholders
A proactive, ownership-oriented approach—you identify what needs to happen and move it forward without waiting to be asked
Comfort operating in ambiguity and adapting as priorities evolve
Strong proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and other modern collaboration tools
Demonstrated use of AI, automation, or tooling to streamline work and reduce manual effort
Nice-to-Haves
Experience supporting multiple executives simultaneously
Experience supporting leaders in GTM, Finance, Legal, or another externally facing or highly confidential function
Background in a high-growth or scaling company
Experience coordinating with customers, investors, partners, advisors, or external counsel
Experience managing executive inboxes and drafting communications
