What the posting says
Who are we?
Cohere is the leading security-first enterprise AI company. We build cutting-edge foundation AI models and end-to-end products that are designed to solve real-world business problems.
We’re training and deploying frontier models for enterprises who are building AI systems. We believe that our work is instrumental to the widespread adoption of AI and we are looking for folks that want to be part of that.
We obsess over what we build. Each one of us is responsible for contributing to increasing the capabilities of our models and the value they drive for our customers. Cohere is a team of researchers, engineers, designers, and more, who are all passionate about their craft.
We are a global technology company headquartered in Toronto with key offices in London, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin and Seoul. Join us!
Why this role?
Cohere has a strong AI narrative, the most deployable product, and a CEO who co-authored the foundational paper of modern AI. The company is positioned to become the transatlantic leader in sovereign AI for enterprise and government, and needs a storytelling engine to deliver that story at scale. This role sits within the team that is building that engine.
We're looking for an Executive Producer, Executive Communications to own and evolve Cohere’s narrative globally as we grow to become the transatlantic leader in sovereign AI. This is a rare opportunity to use video as the primary medium to share voices and tell stories of executives at one of the fastest growing companies in the most dynamic space in technology.
In this cross functional role, you will partner directly with C-Suite and VP executives, helping to determine how we talk to customers, partners, and employees. The role takes Cohere's narrative—the through-line that connects sovereign AI, transatlantic growth, and the product story—and turns it into the content the world sees and shares.
You will execute Cohere's strategic narrative through various forms of content including video, podcast, and in-house production. While the role flexes across formats, we see video as the primary and most effective medium. The Executive Producer has dual aims: to grow the personal thought leadership profiles of Cohere's senior voices on their own channels and to deliver Cohere's narrative to the market through company channels.
As Executive Producer, Executive Communications you will:
Build and execute Cohere's strategic narrative across three storytelling surfaces: Executive Thought Leadership, Policy Storytelling, and Corporate Storytelling
Partner with the VP Global Communications on narrative architecture and translating Cohere's narrative into content strategy and execution across the aforementioned three storytelling surfaces
Audit and gap analyses across Cohere's senior voices including the co-founding team, CFO, Chief AI Officer, SVP Government Affairs, and various VPs supporting the business
Develop content playbooks for predictable inflection moments (regulatory milestones, product launches, customer wins, IPO milestones) to be launched on executive and company pages
Partner with Marketing to create content for company accounts
Stand up the production function including stage capture systems, content atomization workflows, and freelance crew networks
Build AI-enabled workflows using Cohere's own products (Command, North, Embed, Rerank) for transcript-to-asset pipelines, executive prep automation, and narrative consistency
Initiate executive stage content capture and distribution at major events with lean, scalable production
Conduct executive content audits and gap analyses across senior voices
Refine and systematize content production workflows with predictable cadences
Develop flagship thought leadership pieces and corporate storytelling output
Scale successful surfaces based on impact analysis and team capacity
You may be a good fit if you:
Have 8-10 years of experience building executive and corporate narratives from ideation through execution, ideally within a fast-paced, high-growth tech or AI environment
Are adept are creating production workflows from scratch (stage capture systems, content atomization pipelines)
Have experience in the high-paced broadcast television environment
Have experience building trust and rapport with executives and senior leaders naturally
Are scrappy. You thrive in thinking “outside the box” and find joy in marrying a problem to its solution
Are highly organized and process-driven, with strong project management skills and a bias for action
Bring high levels of creativity to communications – in format, channel, and storytelling
Are comfortable navigating organizational dynamics and building strong relationships across all levels
Thrive in ambiguous, fast-moving environments and know how to ruthlessly prioritize
Ideal Candidate Profile The successful candidate will have experience in strategic communications, content production, and executive storytelling, with the ability to build scalable systems and leverage AI tools. They should be comfortable navigating executive relationships, managing production workflows, and adapting content strategies based on performance data. Experience in tech/AI environments and familiarity with Cohere's product suite would be valuable assets.
