Facility Manager (Remote)
We are seeking an experienced Facility Manager with a strong background in project management to oversee the daily operations, maintenance, and strategic development of our facilities. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on U.S. facility management expertise with proven project management skills to plan, execute, and deliver facility-related projects on time and within budget.
Note: Candidates without prior facility management experience in the United States will not be considered for interview.
Key Responsibilities
Facility Operations
Oversee day-to-day operations of the facility, including maintenance, security, cleaning, and vendor management
•Ensure compliance with U.S. health, safety, and environmental regulations (OSHA and local codes)
•Manage facility budgets, expenses, and cost-control initiatives
•Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance schedules
Project Management
Plan, initiate, and manage facility improvement, renovation, and relocation projects from start to finish
•Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource plans
•Coordinate with contractors, architects, engineers, and internal stakeholders
•Track project milestones, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies
•Prepare and present project status reports to senior management
Vendor & Contractor Management
Source, negotiate, and manage contracts with vendors and service providers
•Evaluate vendor performance and ensure service level agreements are met
Team Leadership
Supervise facility staff, custodial teams, and maintenance personnel
•Train and mentor team members on safety protocols and best practices
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3–5 years of hands-on facility management experience in the United States (required)
•Demonstrated project management experience (managing budgets, timelines, and cross-functional teams)
•Strong knowledge of U.S. building codes, OSHA regulations, and building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing)
•Proficiency in facility management software and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
Preferred Qualifications
PMP certification or equivalent project management training
•Excellent communication and negotiation skills
•Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
•Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Work Environment
•Remote
Standard schedule: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday–Friday
•Applicants must have verifiable U.S.-based facility management experience to proceed to interview stage
