Requirements:
As a Forward Deployed AI Engineer, you will work directly with our business units, gain a deep understanding of their processes, and build production-ready AI and automation solutions that will fundamentally transform the way the entire GGW Group operates. You will not hand over a specification to a development team. You are the development team. You will own the problem, the architecture, and the outcome — both technically and from a business perspective.
You will work on the most important challenges across the Group, with the freedom to make far-reaching technical and strate-gic decisions every day. One week, you may build an end-to-end claims-handling automation for one of our brokers; the next, you may develop a data-driven underwriting analysis for one of our managing general agents.
This role requires someone who is exceptionally strong technically while also thinking entrepreneurially — someone who knows when to go deep and builds solutions that genuinely work in day-to-day operations. You will work with the ownership and speed of an AI start-up founder, without having to start a company yourself.
Responsibilities:
Your responsibilities

Independently deliver AI projects end to end from problem definition, architecture, and development through to production operation
•
Develop production-ready AI systems, including LLM-based workflows, RAG systems, agentic pipelines, automations, and domain-specific models
•
Work directly with business units, such as sales operations, claims handling, underwriting, and finance, as well as the managing directors of our subsidiaries
•
Serve as the technical interface for internal stakeholders: translate business problems into working solutions and ex-plain technical solutions in business terms
•
Actively contribute to our AI strategy by building an internal AI culture and knowledge base
Your profile
•
Degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, a comparable field, or demonstrably equivalent practical experience
•
Solid experience building and deploying AI/ML systems in production environments
•
Hands-on experience with LLMs, including prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation, RAG, and agentic systems
•
Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new domains and develop projects in conditions of uncertainty
