Infrastructure Operations Specialist (d/f/m) – Germany

Requirements:

Completed degree in IT or a comparable field of study

Strong curiosity, adaptability, and willingness to learn; thrives in a team environment built on open communication, mutual support, and continuous knowledge sharing

Basic understanding of VMware, Nutanix, or Hyper-V infrastructures

Experience with Windows and Linux, and knowledge of Unix systems such as AIX and Solaris

Familiarity with Oracle, MS SQL, and centralized patching platforms such as SCCM, RedHat Satellite, and WSUS

Basic understanding of NetApp NAS architectures

Vigilance regarding security and compliance, strong organizational skills, and clear communication in a collaborative, multi-site environment

Awareness of potential compliance risks and commitment to acting with integrity

Responsibilities:

Review and validate technical change requests before system updates are implemented

Maintain platform cybersecurity, guard against configuration drift, and ensure systems meet regulatory compliance standards

Coordinate daily incident resolution and track platform lifecycles to proactively address component obsolescence

Direct external service contractors carrying out routine, hands-on technical operations

Participate in Service Management Board (SMB) meetings and collaborate with our German Restricted Environments team to harmonize operational methods
