Position Overview

The Part-Time Instructor for Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) Training plays a key role in delivering engaging and impactful learning experiences to adult learners enrolled in our online certification programs.

Instructors facilitate curriculum content, support student learning, and connect business analysis concepts to real-world industry applications. This role involves teaching live online sessions, mentoring learners, providing feedback, and contributing to a collaborative instructional environment.

Classes are delivered 100% online in a synchronous format.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver instructor-led CBAP training sessions for online learner batches.

Cover core topics including:

BABOK Guide knowledge areas and frameworks

Requirements gathering and analysis techniques

Stakeholder management strategies

Agile and Scrum concepts for Business Analysts

Business process modeling and workflow analysis

SDLC methodologies and project lifecycle understanding

CBAP exam preparation strategies and application guidance

Real-world business analysis case studies and practical applications

Prepare and update:

Training materials

Assignments and exercises

Mock tests and assessments

Case studies and workshop activities

Conduct interactive workshops, doubt-clearing sessions, and assessment reviews.

Guide learners in understanding CBAP application eligibility and certification requirements.

Track learner progress and provide personalized mentoring and feedback.

Support learners with practical business analysis scenarios and documentation techniques.

Maintain session quality metrics and learner engagement standards.

Stay updated with the latest IIBA standards, CBAP exam patterns, and industry trends.

Collaborate with internal teams on curriculum enhancement and content development initiatives.

Required Qualifications

CBAP Certification (Mandatory)

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, IT, or related field

10+ years of experience in Business Analysis or related domain

2+ years of experience in training, coaching, or mentoring professionals

Strong understanding of:

Business Process Modeling

SDLC Methodologies

Prior experience delivering online or classroom training preferred

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Collaboration & Professional Conduct

Adhere to institutional policies and instructional team standards.

Foster an inclusive, respectful, and professional learning environment.

Serve as a role model and mentor for learners pursuing CBAP certification.

Collaborate with instructional staff and program teams to improve the learner experience and certification outcomes.

Represent the organization professionally when interacting with students, staff, and external stakeholders.

Work Schedule

Part-Time instructors typically work 10–15 hours per week depending on cohort schedules.

The total weekly part-time commitment is expected to be 8–12 hours.

Weekday - 06:30 PM CST - 09:30 PM CST (Monday, Wednesday and Thursday)

Weekend - 09:00 AM CST - 12:00 PM CST (Saturday and Sunday)

Flexibility for evening availability is required.

Compensation

The anticipated pay range for this position is $55 – $60 per hour, depending on qualifications and experience.

This position is classified as Part-Time, Non-Exempt, and employees will be compensated for all hours worked in accordance with applicable federal and state wage and hour laws.
