Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Insurance Support Specialist to support a growing independent insurance brokerage. This person will assist with quoting, prospect follow-up, appointment setting, renewal management, and maintaining accurate client information.

The ideal candidate has previous insurance experience, is comfortable working with agency management and CRM systems, and can communicate professionally with prospects and clients. This position will begin part-time, with the potential to grow as the agency expands.

Schedule

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week

Monday through Friday

Schedule to be coordinated with the agency owner

Key Responsibilities

Assist with high-volume personal and commercial insurance quoting

Gather the information needed to prepare accurate quotes

Enter and maintain prospect and client information

Follow up with prospects regarding quotes and outstanding information

Schedule appointments for the agency owner

Support renewal tracking and follow-up

Update activities, notes, and pipeline stages within the CRM

Maintain accurate and organized digital records

Communicate professionally through email, phone, and text

Follow up on open tasks and ensure requests are completed promptly

Assist with policy documentation and general administrative support

Help document and improve internal processes as the agency grows

Protect confidential client and insurance information

Required Qualifications

Previous insurance industry experience

Experience supporting insurance quoting or policy servicing

Familiarity with personal or commercial insurance lines

Strong written and spoken English

Excellent attention to detail

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Professional client communication

Ability to manage multiple requests and priorities

Comfortable learning new systems and processes

Reliable internet connection and professional remote workspace

Ability to work independently and follow established procedures

Technology and Systems

Experience with one or more of the following is preferred:

Applied Epic

AMS360

Salesforce

Google Workspace

Similar insurance agency management or CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with both personal and commercial insurance lines

Experience preparing or assisting with high-volume quotes

Familiarity with insurance renewals and prospect pipelines

Experience working for an independent insurance agency

Appointment-setting or customer-service experience

Spanish-speaking ability is a plus, but not required
