What the posting says
Salary: R23 000 – R25 000 per month
Remote Recruitment is hiring an Inventory Administrator for a UK-based employer, fully remote from South Africa.
Role overview
You'll keep stock records honest for a UK business — booking goods in and out, investigating variances, and making sure the number on the system matches the number on the shelf.
When the system and the shelf disagree, someone has to work out why. You will be the person who finds the answer rather than adjusting the number and moving on.
You will work UK business hours from home, as part of a South African team placed directly with established UK employers.
Key responsibilities
Record goods received and dispatched against purchase and sales orders
Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies with the warehouse team
Maintain product records, codes and units of measure
Prepare stock reports and support cycle counts
Flag low stock and slow-moving lines to the buying team
Keep supplier delivery documentation filed and traceable
What you'll need
Experience with stock, inventory or order administration
Confident in Excel or Google Sheets, including lookups and filters
Familiarity with an ERP or stock system such as Unleashed, Cin7 or Sage
Methodical approach to reconciling numbers that do not agree
Reliable, consistent data entry under volume
Nice to have
Exposure to cycle counting or stocktake processes
Experience in wholesale, retail or e-commerce operations
Understanding of landed cost or goods-in pricing
What's on offer
100% remote, working from anywhere in South Africa
UK business hours, 09:00–17:00 UK time (11:00–19:00 SAST)
Direct exposure to an established UK business
Long-term, stable placement with room to grow
Remote Recruitment places South African professionals with UK businesses for long-term, fully remote roles.
