JOB OVERVIEW
The Investment Analyst will be part of the investments team to support the company’s strategic growth by supporting the investment and business development efforts. The candidate will be exposed to both investment and business development activities and get to work on deals from the origination stage to contract conclusion.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct feasibility studies for potential investment and hotel management deals, partake in work relating to bidding or tendering process, including market research and underwriting of each potential project including critical market and competitive data, tracking and establishing pickup trends, occupancy history, and provide recommendations to management
Conduct market research and generate investment and development leads through contacts with developers, lending institutions, independent hotel operators, hotel brokers, hotel consultants and government tourism bodies, track new projects pipeline, maintain both deal and contact databases
Develop financial models, presentations, proposals and pitch materials in connection to each investment or business developmentopportunityandworkwith various internal stakeholders to prepare proposals, including hotel operations and technical services team
Work with investment team to develop and implement business development strategies to grow the business and secure new hotel management contracts
Qualifications:
Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in either Hospitality, Business Finance or Real Estate from a recognised institution
Internshipand relevant experience in thehospitalityor real estate industrypreferred
Minimum 1 – 2 years’ of working experience in either an analyst or consultancy role in ahospitalityorrealestaterelatedfield.
Well versed in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word, including financial modelling, graphs charting and presentation
