Healthcare Coding and Consulting Services (HCCS) is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Inpatient Facility Coder with extensive Level I Trauma and DRG Validation experience to join our growing team. This is a fully remote, full-timeopportunity for a coding professional who thrives in a Trauma Level I hospital environment and is looking for long-term career stability with a family-owned company.

Position Requirements:

CurrentAHIMA or AAPC coding certification required; CCS certification strongly preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of recent Inpatient Facility coding experience in a Level I Trauma hospital setting.

Extensive Level I Trauma coding experience required.

Strong DRG Validation experience, including identifying documentation and coding opportunities that impact MS-DRG assignment and reimbursement.

Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, MS-DRGs, and Official Coding Guidelines.

Experience coding highly complex inpatient cases, including trauma, critical care, surgical, and medically complex encounters.

Strong understanding of Medicare inpatient reimbursement methodologies and DRG assignment.

Proven ability to maintain high coding accuracy while meeting productivity expectations.

Excellent critical thinking, communication, and documentation review skills.

Must reside in the United States.
