IT Onsite Support Engineer (Heerbrugg 1st, 2nd level support, English, German)

Tasks and Responsibilities

Provide and maintain a stable local IT infrastructure with support from the Competence Center.

Deliver high-quality, friendly, and professional on-site support.

Ensure smooth daily IT operations at the assigned locations.

Support users with local workplace hardware and site-related IT activities.

Work on assigned ITSM tasks and incidents.

Install, configure, replace, and maintain endpoint hardware and standard client devices.

Deliver, relocate, and set up IT workplaces and endpoint devices.

Provide on-site support for hardware-related workplace issues, such as notebooks, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers, peripherals, and meeting room equipment.

Perform basic troubleshooting for local IT issues and coordinate escalation to the Service Desk or responsible specialist teams when required.

Support local rollouts, device exchanges, and hardware refresh activities.

Visit all assigned sites regularly.

Maintain local IT documentation and coordinate local operational topics with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Requirements

Good knowledge of IT hardware and standard client devices.

Basic knowledge of standard software used in the workplace environment.

Interest in information technology and technical problem-solving.

Service-oriented and structured way of working.

Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Willingness to travel between assigned sites.

Fluent German and English (written and spoken) communication skills

Candidates have to declare Criminal record extract not older than 3 months
