About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on IT professional who uses AI as a core working tool. You will run and improve our IT infrastructure, support our employees, and solve complex technical problems faster and better by working with modern AI assistants and agents. You are as comfortable directing an AI agent through a configuration as you are plugging in cables on-site.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, set up, and maintain our network infrastructure across sites, including routers, switches, Wi-Fi, and firewalls (e.g. UniFi).

Design and manage resilient internet connectivity with multiple providers and automatic failover (e.g. satellite internet with a fixed-line or mobile backup).

Segment networks to separate different user groups and areas, such as office, guest, and residential networks.

Use AI to analyse complex existing setups and create clear graphical network plans and documentation as a basis for on-site work.

Configure systems with AI agents (including computer-use agents), supervising their work and verifying the results.

Troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues systematically, test changes thoroughly, and track down remaining errors after rollout.

Provide first- and second-level IT support to employees, using AI to resolve issues faster and build reusable solutions.

Set up and manage computers, user accounts, and workplace IT equipment.

Identify and implement AI and automation solutions that make our IT and business processes more efficient.

Ensure IT security and compliance: review AI-generated configurations, protect access credentials, keep backups, and be able to roll back changes.

Your Profile

Strong, practical AI skills (required): you use AI assistants and agents daily for technical work, including documentation, analysis, and hands-on system configuration, and can show concrete examples of problems you solved with them.

Solid experience in network administration, IT administration, or IT support.

Good networking knowledge: IP addressing, DHCP, DNS, VLANs, routing, VPN, multi-WAN and failover. Experience with UniFi, Starlink, or similar systems is a plus.

Ability to quickly understand complex, grown infrastructures and turn them into a clear overview.

Good knowledge of hardware, operating systems, and common business software.

A critical, security-conscious mindset: you know when to trust AI output, when to verify it, and how to undo a change safely.

Strong problem-solving skills and an independent, hands-on way of working, including on-site work at our locations.

Fluent in German and English, written and spoken.

Quality

Completeness: 45%

Not enough history yet to judge honesty signals.
