Java Backend Developer

In Tappx we keep growing and, therefore, we are looking for new talented people to join our Performance Tech team in our IT department.

As a Senior Java Backend Developer you will:

Participate in the entire applications life cycle with focus on coding and debugging.

Write clean and maintainable code of high quality accomplishing estimated hours and due dates.

Offer Technical support to the Performance department.

Troubleshoot and debug applications.

Collect technical needs and design requirements.

Identify new needs and propose solutions to improve our applications.

Learn about technologies different than Java existing in our tech stack.

Measure the impact of new features, interpret key metrics and collaborate with the data team for data-driven decision making.

Requirements

We are looking for if you have:

2-3+ years of experience as Backend Developer.

Minimum 2 years of experience developing in Java, Spring and MySQL.

Desirable:

Medium knowledge of Git.

Basic knowledge of Linux.

Basic knowledge of Docker.

Basic knowledge of Kafka

Basic Knowledge of AGILE tools (such as Jira).
