Lead Forward-Deployed Engineer (Data Integration)

Salary: CHF 120'000 - 150'000 per year

Requirements:

Overall experience of six or more years, including three or more in integration engineering

Experience of two or more years in forward-deployed or solution engineering roles

Strong proficiency in API integration development

Hands-on experience with Fivetran and dbt

Experience with Mulesoft APIs

Practical exposure to AI-assisted development or agent-based tooling

Demonstrated client-facing technical leadership capability

Familiarity with Anthropic Claude or Amazon Bedrock

English proficiency at CEFR B2 level

Responsibilities:

Lead client engagement on high-priority integration challenges

Scope AI-assisted integration prototypes

Build and iterate on data integration, ingestion and transformation prototypes using MuleSoft process APIs, Fivetran and dbt

Define and validate technical feasibility and architecture for innovative integration approaches

Lead hardening and transition of validated prototypes into standard build workflows

Act as a subject matter expert and senior escalation point for data integration technologies

Serve as the primary technical liaison for client integration and AI-related initiatives

Contribute reusable integration patterns and components to the AI Solution Engineering practice
