Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Lead Generator to provide dedicated business development and prospecting support for a junk removal, construction cleanup, demolition, and debris removal business.
The Lead Generator will focus specifically on identifying government agencies, municipalities, contractors, and other public-sector opportunities that may require junk removal, construction site cleanup, demolition, debris removal, hauling, or related services. The ideal candidate has experience researching government leads and contracts, is comfortable with cold calling and outreach, and can identify and organize qualified opportunities with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
Research and identify government agencies, municipalities, public-sector organizations, and relevant contractors
Identify government contracts, solicitations, bids, RFPs, RFQs, and other procurement opportunities related to the company’s services
Research government procurement websites, databases, directories, and other relevant sources to identify potential opportunities
Build and maintain organized lists of government prospects, agencies, decision-makers, and contracting opportunities
Identify procurement officers, purchasing departments, facilities managers, project managers, and other relevant contacts
Conduct outbound cold calls and email outreach to prospective government and commercial contacts
Introduce the company’s junk removal, construction cleanup, demolition, hauling, and related services to qualified prospects
Follow up consistently with prospects and opportunities to generate conversations and potential sales opportunities
Review government opportunities and determine whether they align with the company’s capabilities and service area
Track contract opportunities, deadlines, contact information, outreach activity, and next steps
Complete required forms, paperwork, documentation, and prospect information accurately
Maintain organized records of leads, contacts, contracts, and outreach activity
Communicate qualified opportunities, prospect responses, and important contract information to the business owner or sales team
Assist with additional sales, business development, research, and outreach tasks as needed
Required Qualifications
Professional experience with government lead generation, government contracts, procurement, sales, or business development
Experience researching government agencies, contracts, solicitations, bids, RFPs, or RFQs
Strong cold calling and outbound prospecting experience
Strong written and verbal English communication skills
Ability to conduct detailed online research and identify qualified opportunities
Ability to complete and organize forms, paperwork, documentation, and lead information accurately
● Strong follow-up and outreach skills
Ability to identify decision-makers and relevant government contacts
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple leads, opportunities, deadlines, and follow-ups
Reliable availability for 20 hours per week
Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Familiarity with RFPs, RFQs, bids, solicitations, and government contracting terminology

Role Details
Schedule: Part-time, 20 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $8.49–$11.49 per hour
