Lead System Engineer (d/f/m)

Salary: 70.000 - 100.000 € per year

Requirements:

Bachelors or Masters degree in Systems Engineering or a related field

Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems engineering, focused on the defense or automotive industry

Proven expertise in system breakdown, requirements engineering, and testing

Experience leading technical teams and managing projects across multiple sites

Knowledge of agile methodologies; Scrum and SAFe knowledge is beneficial

Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities

Strong organizational skills and a self-motivated work ethic

Ability to motivate and inspire team members

Flexibility and adaptability to changing project demands

Strong communication skills for reporting and stakeholder engagement

Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

Familiarity with defense industry standards and practices

Responsibilities:

Lead and guide multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple sites

Oversee the decomposition of complex systems into subsystems and components

Create and maintain project schedules and execute plans

Make technical and strategic decisions to resolve issues and drive project progress

Monitor quality and progress, report on them, and apply agile methodologies to manage workflows

Motivate team members and encourage innovation, accountability, and high performance

Ensure compliance with defense industry standards and regulations

Travel as needed to coordinate with teams, stakeholders, and clients
