Consultancy Description

The purpose of this consultancy is to support the Edify country and regional teams to implement, manage, and report on the OneTest assessment. It is a part-time consultancy that will last through September 30, 2026. It reports to the VP for Christ-Centered Education.

Key Deliverables

OneTest School-Level Reports

Develop a process for generating automated individual school reports based on a school’s OneTest data (either pulling from Salesforce or a spreadsheet containing the school’s data)

Provide any necessary training to Edify staff on how to generate and modify reports

OneTest Training

Work with country teams to understand their process for OneTest data collection and help them optimize data collection processes, especially as it pertains to schools collecting and sharing their data directly with Edify

Create training/processes for increasing the capacity of teachers to administer OneTest

OneTest Follow-up Resources

Develop a user-friendly feedback mechanism from schools for obtaining input on the usefulness of OneTest resources shared with schools (e.g., OneTest Guidebook, YouTube videos, phonics trainings, etc.)

Develop additional OneTest follow-up materials (e.g., videos, guidebook revisions) that are beneficial to schools after taking OneTest

Library Curation

Curate an open-source digital library of basic phonics books that are appropriate for the early grades level and can be printed by schools

Work with Edify regional teams to make these books available through relevant digital platforms that can be shared with schools

Work with Edify regional teams to curate print book selections for a local lending library that schools can share with neighboring schools

Length

Starting June 25, 2026 and continuing through September 30, 2026

Compensation

Compensation will be commensurate with experience and paid on an hourly basis. Monthly invoices will be submitted by the consultant, with a maximum number of 80 hours per month (and any projected hours over this amount to be approved by the supervisor).

Qualifications

Familiarity with different statistical analysis methodologies for education data

Familiarity with software that can automate statistical analysis and generate individual reports

Ability to craft meaningful questions and interpret qualitative data

Training/teaching experience

Cross-cultural competence and experience

Proficiency in French or Spanish (preferred)
