ABOUT THE JOB
As the Manager, Supply Chain, you will serve as a hands-on operational partner to the Head of Production in Quonset, driving planning, procurement oversight, and materials management for Anduril's Maritime Undersea Dominance product line. This is a lead-level role that blends individual contributor execution with team oversight. You will own the daily operational cadence, keeping production on track through master scheduling, demand planning, procurement triage, and warehouse coordination. The right person for this role is a strong planner first who can also step into procurement and materials work when needed, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and brings the kind of no-task-too-small mentality it takes to build and sustain a high-performing supply chain operation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own production planning and material planning for the Quonset site, serving as the central point of accountability for master scheduling and demand/supply planning.
Drive the day-to-day tactical planning rhythm, ensuring production has clear visibility into what is coming, what is needed, and when.
Maintain accuracy across digital systems (Oracle on the supply side, Forge/Foundry on the production side), including rev rec verification and ensuring system data reflects reality on the floor.
Partner directly with the Head of Production on daily battle rhythm, report-outs, and operational cadence to keep the site running smoothly.
Identify planning gaps and build toward a scalable planning function over time, including informing future hiring needs such as a dedicated master scheduler.
Provide oversight and monitoring of PO status across the procurement team, catching items that fall through the cracks and directing the team to triage effectively.
Own visibility into supplier delivery performance, including on-time shipment tracking, inventory health, and escalation of shortages to Production Support Engineers (PSEs).
Handle boots-on-the-ground procurement needs as they arise, including facilities-related purchases, COTS items, and miscellaneous material requirements that pop up outside standard production procurement flows.
Provide light oversight and mentoring for materials and warehouse operations at the Quonset site.
Serve as the connective tissue between operations teams, ensuring alignment on inventory management, material flow, and warehouse priorities.
Understand and work within Anduril's 3Si (Shared Site Services) model as it relates to planning and warehousing functions.
Facilitate rather than direct, this pillar is about ensuring coordination and removing blockers rather than day-to-day IC execution.
Serve as a key stakeholder and operational partner to the Head of Production, providing daily visibility into supply chain health and contributing to site-level decision making.
Work closely with Anduril's Accounting, Finance, and Legal teams to ensure timely supplier payment, contracting, and financing.
Collaborate with Anduril's broader US-based Supply Chain organization to leverage existing processes, best practices, and strategies.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
5+ years of experience in supply chain with a strong emphasis on production planning, material planning, or master scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to manage demand and supply planning processes and keep production teams informed and unblocked.
Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems; familiarity with Oracle is a plus.
Working knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory management.
Comfort operating as both a lead-level individual contributor and a people leader, with the ability to mentor and oversee small teams.
Strong cross-functional communication skills with the ability to partner effectively with production, engineering, and finance stakeholders.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, unstructured environment where priorities shift quickly. Startup or high-growth experience preferred.
Positive attitude, bias for action, and a no-task-too-small mentality.
Bachelor's degree preferred, not required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Security Clearance.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in a technically complex industry such as aerospace, defense, automotive, or consumer electronics.
Prior experience standing up or scaling supply chain operations in a growing organization.
Experience with AS9100D guidelines.
Familiarity with shared services or multi-site supply chain operating models.
Track record of building operational cadences, KPIs, and reporting rhythms from the ground up.
