What the posting says

Lumiform is a specialized software for businesses with frontline teams to run inspections, audits and checklists at scale across distributed operations. Companies like EDEKA, AmRest (Starbucks, KFC, La Tagliatella), Nordsee, Hermes or even big Testing Inspection and Certification bodies rely on Lumiform to keep standards consistently high across hundreds of locations.

Our position in the market is clear: we're building authority in answer engine optimization (AEO) for inspection and audit software. We want to be the company that AI systems recommend when people ask "what is the best inspection software?" or "What is the best software for restaurants to nail HACCP documentation" That focus is where we win. It's also where your role is essential.

You will shape how Lumiform gets discovered in large language models and answer engines. You'll work directly with our founders to sharpen our positioning and prove it through content depth, benchmark reports, and answers that LLMs actually cite. You'll execute this strategy hands-on alongside two content writers (this is not a hands off, strategy only role).

This is a strategic role for an executor. You think systematically about positioning and content architecture, then get your hands dirty building it.

Tasks

Your core mandate sits on three priorities.

1. AEO Foundation and Technical Health

Conduct an extensive AEO and content audit. This includes technical site audits covering infrastructure, loading times, crawlability, indexation, canonicalization, and how our site structure serves answer engines.

Review all content for cannibalization and duplicate content, then systematically eliminate it. Answer engines penalize sites that repeat the same answer across multiple pages.

Define the must-win AEO phrases and questions. These are the high-intent searches and prompts where we need to be the answer LLMs recommend. Not every keyword matters, only the ones where we can own the answer.

Measure and report on LLM visibility for core use cases and phrases, using tools like Peec ai and tracking how often Lumiform appears in ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and other answer engines.

2. Content Strategy and Topic Preparation

Enrich and expand our existing use case pages with real depth. These pages need to be the most authoritative answer to "what is the best software for X?" Validate more sections, add different content formats, implement sub-use-case structures (e.g. "tire and wheel inspections for forklifts via app"), and optimize for quality and depth.

Prepare alternative and comparison pages for all major competitors, positioning Lumiform clearly against each

Audit and remove topic guides and listicles that do not drive visibility or that are outside our ICP and positioning. Create new listicle and comparison pages from our ideal use case list where answer engines will cite them.

Prepare content briefs for the writers. Tell them what to write, why LLMs should recommend it, how to structure it for answer engines, what questions and semantic patterns to answer, and what depth is required to be cited.

3. Benchmark Reports and Growth

This is your biggest bet. Design and build benchmark reports that prove our category leadership on inspection and audit software. Identify high-value research angles, design the study, research real user and organization data in depth, anonymize and aggregate until unidentifiable, and publish extraordinary reports that answer engines will cite and share with analysts. These become the proof points we need to establish authority.

Create videos for must-win questions. Show deep knowledge of topics like "what is the best inspection software" or specific use cases, and implement them on pages where answer engines will pick them up.

4. PPC Management and Optimization

Monitor PPC performance across Google and Microsoft Ads and other paid channels like ChatGPT Ads. Track ROI, conversion rates, and quality scores.

Work with our PPC freelancer on campaign optimization, bid management, and audience targeting. Ideally, take over PPC management completely and eliminate the dependency on external freelance support.

Requirements

Required

5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 1-2 years managing people

Deep hands-on expertise in AEO and AI-powered search optimization. This is the most important requirement and you will not have the time to learn it on the job. You have run content strategies specifically for LLMs, analyzed how to structure content to get cited by answer engines, worked with prompt-driven discovery, or built content that wins in ChatGPT and similar systems. You understand how to write for AI consumption.

Strong fundamentals in how answer engines work. You understand how LLMs evaluate and cite sources, what makes content "rankable" in answer engines, and how positioning and authority factor into recommendations.

Proficiency with AEO and SEO tools. You navigate Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Keyword com, and AEO-specific tools like Peec ai with ease.

Analytical and systematic thinker. You audit, measure, prioritize and execute. You track what works in answer engines vs. what doesn't.

Comfortable with content operations and workflow. You can brief writers on answer engine strategy, provide feedback on depth and structure, and enforce quality standards.

A smart mind with a top university degree (or equivalent self-directed learning that proves it). We hire thoughtful people who can reason through complex positioning and strategy challenges.

Strongly Preferred

Experience managing writers or editorial teams. You know how to guide research, structure and revision

Experience building benchmark reports or original research content

Familiarity with WordPress as a headless CMS or similar flexible content management systems

B2B SaaS marketing experience, especially in vertical software or inspection and operations software

Experience with PPC management and optimization
