About the Project

We operate the platform of the International Association of Project Managers (IAPM), which includes several websites, a certification system, and a web-based learning platform.

Our current website is based on a historically developed, custom-built CMS with numerous PHP processes and a MySQL database. The goal is to gradually migrate this platform to WordPress, replacing as many custom developments as possible with established WordPress and WooCommerce solutions.

We are looking for an experienced, German-speaking WordPress developer (m/f/d) with excellent PHP skills to support us in this project.

Project Goal

Our goal is to rebuild our current system (including the website) using WordPress and PHP applications. Afterward, the processes will be gradually migrated from the existing system, and the old processes will be deactivated.

First, existing processes will be analyzed and replaced with standard solutions wherever possible. Custom programming will only be undertaken where technically necessary (this will be discussed and further detailed between the client and contractor at the working level).

During the migration, the old and new systems will operate in parallel. The final switchover will only take place after successful completion of the migration.
